Standard Duty "SD-CompOcel" Composite Hose

Fuel ( Oil & Petroleum ), Marine, Dockside and Chemical ( Light and corrosive ) Composite Hose

Any hose fittings such as Flanges, Unions, Pipes, Threaded Connections and Camlock and Quick Release Couplings can be crimped or swaged. At Ocelflex, composite hose with a PTFE layer can also be designed to have end fittings which are Tufted or Flared. For more information about the type of end fittings refer the bottom of the page.

Standard Duty "SD-CompOcel" are designed for medium duty applications suitable for suction, discharge and transfer of fluids like
Fuel, oil and lubricants like gasoline, diesel, petroleum, black oils;
Chemicals such as acids, alkalis, aldehydes;
Certain corrosive and aggressive chemicals like acids, alkalis, MTBE, chlorinated hydrocarbon, alcohols;
Superior quality Aviation Fuel.

Dimensions

Inner Diameter ranges from 1 1/4 inch to 4 inch.
Lengths are manufactured upto 20 meters, depending upon the diameter.

Temperature

Suitable for minimum temperature of - 30 ℃ and maximum temperature of upto 80 ℃.

Working Pressure

Depending upon the diameter, "SD-ComOcel" Composite hoses can withstand upto 10 / 15 bar.

Material

Inner Wire: This is the innermost layer that provides structural support to the hose. It's often made from galvanized steel or stainless steel, depending on the application.
Layers of Fabric and Film: These layers are made from various materials such as polypropylene, polyester, or PTFE. They provide chemical resistance and ensure the safe transportation of fluids.
Outer Wire: This layer provides additional support and protects the hose from external damage. Like the inner wire, it can be made from galvanized steel or stainless steel.
Cover: This is the outermost layer of the hose, designed to protect against environmental factors like UV radiation, abrasion, and weathering.

Heavy Duty "HD-CompOcel" are designed for heavy duty applications suitable for large suction, discharge and transfer of fluids like
High Pressure Fuel, oil and lubricants like gasoline, diesel, petroleum, black oils;
High Pressure Standard chemicals such as acids, alkalis, aldehydes;
High Pressure corrosive and aggressive chemicals like acids, alkalis, MTBE, chlorinated hydrocarbon, alcohols;
Fluids at high temperature such as bitumen and tar.

Inner Diameter ranges from 4 inch to 10 inch.
Lengths are manufactured upto 20 meters, depending upon the diameter.

These composite hoses are a type of flexible hose specifically designed to handle cryogenic fluids — substances that are kept at extremely low temperatures, typically below -150 degrees Celsius.
These hoses are constructed from multiple layers of materials, including thermoplastics and wire helix reinforcements, which can withstand the extreme cold of cryogenic conditions.
The construction of cryogenic composite hoses is similar to standard composite hoses but with added features to handle the extreme cold. The innermost layer, or tube, is made from a material that remains flexible and durable even at very low temperatures. This is surrounded by layers of insulation to prevent heat transfer and maintain the temperature of the transferred fluid.
The outer cover is designed to resist cracking and damage due to the cold.

Dimensions

Inner Diameter ranges from 1 inch to 3 inch.
Lengths are manufactured upto 5 meters, depending upon the diameter.

Temperature

Suitable for minimum temperature of - 196 ℃ and maximum temperature of upto 50 ℃.
