Ocelflex’s metal hoses are manufactured using 300 Series Stainless Steel thin walled sheets, which are rolled and butt welded to form Stainless Steel tubing. Further, at Ocelflex the Stainless Steel tubing is either Hydraulically formed or Mechanically formed into corrugated Stainless Steel tubing. This Stainless Steel convoluted hose is manufactured in close pitch, standard pitch or wide pitch, with Annular Corrugations ( or Parallel Convolutions ).
We manufacture stainless steel hoses with Inner Diameter ranging
from 1/4 inch ( DN 6 ) to 20 inch ( DN 500 )
Lengths are manufactured upto 100 meters for smaller sizes and upto 10 mtrs for larger sizes.
Suitable for minimum temperature of - 270 ℃ and maximum temperature of upto 850 ℃.
Depending upon the diameter, these Flexible Metal Hoses can withstand upto 35 bar.

Depending upon the pressure parameter in the application, the metal hose is designed using either single braid or double braid or multiple braids.
Ocelflex manufactures wide range of braid constructions including 24, 36, 48, 64, 96 and 128 carriers. Bright annealed and high tensile wires are used for the production of metal braids.

Manufactured in long lengths and deep corrugations for increased flexibility without compromising on pressure rating.
The pressure rating of plain unbraided corrugated metal hoses is low as it tends to elongate above a certain pressure rating, in order to increase the pressure rating, some load bearing mechanism is to be used.
So, a metal braiding is reinforced to the unbraided hose to resist the full mechanical stress and increase the internal pressure capacity.
